Mercedes E400 Convertible 3. 0 AMG Sport Plus Auto, in Obsidian black with black leather/ anthracite interior. The range topping E400 was the flagship of the E-Class convertible offering. The introduction of the 333bhp 3. 0 V6 power unit, ensured that the already comfortable and sleek appearance of the E-Class convertible, could now also compete with its rivals in performance.
SPECIFICATION
The Sport Plus enjoys a high level of specification as standard, with features including climate control, sat nav, parking sensors, cruise control, heated seats, isofix and multiple airbags. This particular E400, had a rear view camera added as an option from factory.
BACKGROUND
This 2014 registered E400 has covered just 52, 882miles since it left the factory. A partial Mercedes service history with last service completed June 2022. MECHANICAL
This engine really suits the E400, providing a perfect balance of both refinement and punchy performance. It really comes in to its own with the 7 speed auto gearbox. Squeeze the accelerator and the vehicle drops down a gear and the dual turbos really get the car moving. On road test, this E400 performs exactly as you’d expect and delivers a smile from ear to ear.
EXTERIOR
The paintwork on the E400 is excellent and represents a vehicle with a lot lower mileage. You can tell that care has been taken to preserve the vehicle throughout ownership. The wheels are not kerbed like most, with a some small markings on just one and they provide the vehicle with that distinctly powerful AMG look.
INTERIOR
With a decent sized luggage compartment and space for 4 adults, the E400 truly is a versatile cabriolet to suit everyone. The condition of the interior is excellent with no signs of scuffs or abnormal wear.
