This Golf came to me via the owner’s family who knew I was into VWs, it had spent the last 3 years in a garage because the owner fell ill. They took it to a local garage who recommissioned it, drained the tank, replaced the fuel lines and pump, serviced the brakes and replaced the cam belt. The cheap fuel pump they used failed on me so I replaced it with a proper Pierburg one from the VW dealer that originally supplied the car incidentally.
The car was waxoyled from new and the same dealer fitted the sunroof when new. The interior is immaculate with no tears or wear. I’ve fitted a Bluetooth Blaupunkt stereo although the original Pioneer tape/ radio will come with the car. The underside is rot free and solid, the paint though has some issues which I’ve pictured in the photos. That windscreen surround will need to be done and I’ve the correct new rubber for when you do that job.
