I’ve decided to put my pride and joy 5 up for sale.
It’s a 1985 earlier model 5, with the 1. 1 C1E engine in it, owned it for a year and enjoyed every second of owning and driving it, still in daily use, unfortunately the increase in living costs just forces the sale.
It has MOT until 04/ 02/ 2024, had 2 advisories, slight play in steering and a small oil leak, which has been seen too. Underneath is very clean and it’s been resprayed in its life, so the paint work is good nick. Plastics could do with a heat gun on them to bring back the black, slight scuff front bumper, had service by myself, and new alternator belt in my ownership, as well as 2 window regulators and new front grille.
All OEM, everything works as it should. It’s not been ragged or ruined. The biting point on the clutch is quite high, but it still drives good, new clutch to go with the car, quoted £120 to replace.
Also to note, has sigma immobiliser and alarm.
