We love Japanese sports cars, especially from the 80s & 90s. However, finding high-quality original examples from the era is an incredible challenge. Miraculously, we came across this beautifully preserved RX-7 FB Series 2 recently and just we had to own it.
With its cool period styling and punchy performance, this one drives and handles very well and brakes straight and true too. All thanks to the light and high-revving rotary 12A engine, it is responsive and great fun to drive.
Fitted with the rare metal sunroof, electric windows and it still retains the Blaupunkt Verona tape/ Stereo player.
Previously part of a Rotary specialist collection, this lovely example has its original interior and an unmarked bodywork with excellent paint work. Even better the engine was rebuilt with new apex seals just 5, 000 miles ago.
Originally supplied by Watsons Mazda of Birmingham in August 1983, it will be legible for historic status soon allowing owners to benefit from its MOT, tax and ULEX exemptions.
With a respectable six owners in total and just 78, 603 miles, it is a rare find. Furthermore, it comes with a good amount of service history, 12 service stamps in the book, original tools and handbooks.
MOT is valid until August 2023 and will come with a fresh oil service.
