Today I have for sale this beautiful 1992 Toyota Crown JZS141. This modern classic is rare, especially a limited and unique production run of 1992-1993 with a distinctive rear taillight design. It is powered by a highly smooth 2JZ engine, supported by a reliable automatic transmission.
Strengths of this example:
-It has had only 2 Japanese owners in the UK since 1999, and I have documents to confirm that. The first owner brought the car to UK in 1999, and he had it new in Japan.
-Smooth and reliable 2JZ-GE, easy on parts too!
-88k KM = 55k Miles
-Practically ZERO rust. Car has been under-sealed every 3 years with a fresh coat of CLEAR Lanoguard, and this is important as many other coatings only mask the problem. Languard allows for undercarriage inspections to be carried out without hiding anything.
-Excellent bodywork, with only minor imperfections.
-Better equipped than many modern cars: automated light sensors, CD player, All electric windows, electric seats, electric mirrors, lights up side of the road when turning!, very well soundproofed, original OEM remote control!
-Amazing drive, extremely comfortable.
-Turns heads, and it has been a huge hit on retro car meets – as there is never another early 90's crown out there yet.
Not-so-good points:
I have a little history, as the previous owner misplaced the service book. Cambelt only has 5000 miles on it but is now 10 years old. The car was definitely very well looked after, I could tell by the previous owner's very accurate statements and my own in-depth inspections. Oil ran perfectly clean when I changed it last June, and when we replaced the rocker cover gasket due to a minor leak, there were no visible carbon/ old oil deposits.
