Description
Mercedes Benz CE280 (code C123, coupé version of the W123 series), wonderfully over-engineered, with the six-cylinder, 2. 8 l., K-Jetronic inyection engine. Only 32, 138 units were built; this one shows plenty of options, such as metallic paint, air conditioning (with the huge York compressor, of freezing performance), power steering, electric front windows, fog lights, M-B Tex trim, rev counter, central locking, two tone horn, eletcric aerial, two external mirrors, alloy wheels, and clean carpeted boot with full size spare wheel.
First registration in Germany (June, 1980), later registered in Spain (June, 1987), recently serviced, MoT till November, 2024, indicated 200. 300 km.; rust free, no rips or tears to the seats; rear seats pockets have lost elasticity, very common on these cars; all gauges and electric work, even the boot lights; door cards in good condition; exterior trim has light scratches on windows chrome strip; slow shift to fourth gear.
