The Ape model by Piaggio is one of the most iconic and recognisable pieces of Italian automotive history, staggeringly, the model has been on offer since 1948 through to present day.
This example is essentially brand new having been purchased in Italy, imported to the UK and then never used. Being the range topping ‘Calessino’ model, the Ape comes complete with a removable canvas roof and two passenger seats in the back. It was purchased with the intention of being used as a promotional vehicle, however, the idea never came to fruition and as a result is now offered for sale. The Ape has only covered 15km from new and still has the protective plastic on the front seat.
