Supplied new in the UK and first registered as ‘RVO 521’ this striking 635 CSi is understood to have spent a year or so in London before emigrating to Spain. Whilst over there it was apparently passed between various family members whilst there. The previous owner acquired the car in 2017 after it had been left languishing for a decade under a pine tree. He bought back to the UK and started on a 4 year sympathetic restoration which included a full professional repaint, a comprehensive engine overhaul, renewing of various braking system parts and a purpose made exhaust system. Any mechanical parts that needed replacing where also addressed. The interior was treated to a thorough cleaning and re fresh and upon opening the door of this classic coupe it really shows.
The car runs and drives great with smooth gear changes and positive steering and a well-balanced chassis make driving this coupe a pleasure.
