History of the Alfa Romeo Spider Series 4
In autumn 1989 the fourth and last generation of the Alfa Romeo Spider was launched. The classic design largely corresponded to that of the predecessors, but had been significantly upgraded. This included, for example, the bumpers painted in body colour and the continuous light band at the rear. The extensive standard equipment included electric windows, electric mirror adjustment and power steering. Most 2 litre versions were fitted with Bosch fuel injection and a regulated catalytic converter.

Black/ Black was already in its time one of the most sought-after finishes. This Alfa Romeo 2. 0 Series 4 was ordered exactly like this and first delivered to Germany. The last owner drove this Spider for almost 20 years and it was always maintained at the legendary Alfa Classic Center in Dortmund. Now the Alfa Classic has been part of our Scuderia Sportiva family since March this year and the owner has entrusted us with the sale of this very well maintained classic. The technology has always been professionally maintained and is in perfect condition. The paintwork is in good condition with no significant damage. The interior and the soft top are also without blemish, a touch of endearing patina surrounds this Spider. Summer can come and with this Alfa every trip to the next ice cream parlour or even over the alpine passes will be a regret-free pleasure.
Summary
In our opinion, the Alfa Romeo Spider is a purist, thoroughbred convertible for perfect summer fun. Its beautiful double-camshaft engine sounds perfect. In modified form, Alfa Romeo offered this Spider for almost 30 years. Spare parts and service costs are still very moderate.
