Manufactured in 1987 this Yamaha FZR 400 GW1 was imported into the UK from Japan & first registered here in September 1991. Extremely fun to ride with revvy 399cc in-line 4 engine, lightweight chassis & sweet handling. Runs & rides well with no carburetion issues as shown in the Youtube video link above. 29, 029 kilometers (18, 037 miles) showing on the clocks believed genuine & consistent with GOV. UK MOT history database from 2006. The overall condition is good but as you can tell from the pictures these are not original panels & paintwork hence the bargain price. There's some light age related damage, wear & tear as pictured. The worst of which is are some scuff marks on the frame as pictured. Sold without warranty due to the age. Make no mistake Japanese 400's are becoming increasingly sought after and rocketing in value making an excellent investment. Getting difficult to find even in Japan so get one while you still can. Priced to sell so be quick to avoid disappointment!
