1987 BMW R80RT TIC
White Ex Devon and Cornwall police bike in excellent condition.
The Bike has only 3 previous owners and comes with a full (April 2024) MOT.
The Bike also comes with BMW Touring panniers, full tool kit and has recently undergone a full Engine, Gearbox and final drive Oil service.
The Bike has an extensive history folder showing its sale from the police up to present day including many MOTs and maintenance log showing all the conclusive maintenance carried out on the bike backed up with the appropriate receipts.
It has to be noted that police bikes have there own speedometer which is removed when sold. Therefore the indicated milage will not be correct.
The R80 RT runs and rides beautifully pulling well in all gears, cornering as all BMW Airheads do, (beautifully) and brakes very effectively. Bodywork is in good condition showing the odd sign of age for a bike of 36 years old.
Other work recently carried out includes, Fork seal replacement, engine valves set, front wheel bearings replaced and new brake fluid.
