EXTERIOR
Audi have forged a unique reputation in creating performance estate variants and with the B7 they remain true to form with deep sills, wide arches and huge road presence. With only an isolated dusting of chips to front bumper and lights, the front end is clean pointing to careful use commensurate with just 2 private owners from new and minimal mileage. With bold arches, much like the B5, there is scope for peppering but again there is nothing major to report.
The matte black window surrounds and roof rails add to the black stealth colour coding and remain in excellent order.
INTERIOR
The fit and finish of the modern day Audi is exemplary and the cabin here has worn particularly well. The wing back Recaros dominate entry into the cabin and as one of the first cars to debut the Sportster CS seats they look immediately at home. With that flat bottomed wheel and piano black trim, the car still looks as fresh as it did at launch.
The carpets, gearbox tunnel and entry strips are pleasingly free of marks with switchgear in excellent condition and in fine operational order.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The high revving 4. 2 V8 under the bonnet makes for an addictive soundtrack and looks ever bit the part, on show and surrounded with RS4 logos and carbon trim rather than hidden under plastic covers. An exemplary service record has ensured this car has had everything it has needed and more from either the main dealer or esteemed specialists.
At 53, 222 Miles, MRC Tuning carried out work to ensure the engine was running at its best, carbon build up in the manifolds were extensively cleaned, health check and dyno run were also carried out as part of the stage 2 tune being implemented. All oils in the gearbox, engine and diff were changed as well as spark plugs, coil pack, pollen filter, fuel filter, inlet and throttle body gaskets were also replaced. Carbon fibre air intake along with a high flow filter, giving the engine more air and better performance.
The 6 speed Getrag manual gearbox is mated to Audis Torsen based quattro system providing superior grip in all weather conditions.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 18? double spoke alloy wheels are in perfect condition having recently been refurbished and shod in matching Continental Sportcontact 6 tyres.
Audi Brembo gloss black 8 pot brakes provide huge stopping power and with replacement of all discs and pads 8k miles ago. During its health check with MRC the front upper suspension arms and c links were also replaced.
HISTORY FILE
This fantastic B7 was first registered by Epsom Audi in December 2006. The original owner would service the car exclusively with the Audi main dealer until we sold it for him to the current owner in 2020.

All invoicing and paperwork for the above service visits are accounted for in the history file.
The current owner decided to take it to MRC Tuning to ensure the problematic carbon build up was rectified and the car was running at its best. Servicing was also performed replacing engine, gearbox and diff oils as well as replacing front upper suspension arms, C links and discs and pads all round; bringing this total with invoices to around 9k.
A huge amount of paperwork is available detailing the cars life from new – alongside the original book pack, stamped service schedule and spare key.
