No time wasters, I’ve already experienced an unpleasant “buyer” and I’m not fully inclined to even sell the vehicle at this point.
Here is my my 1998 Aerodeck VTI. I have owned this car for over 5 years now, and bought it from a friend who took good care of it previously. It is a very clean example.
It’s been in storage for 13 months, moved around nearly every day, taken for petrol and its MOT. I’ve only recently had the car back for a couple of days and decided I’ll not end up using it much at all. So it’s either going back into storage or the right buyer can take it off my hands. It’s a reluctant sale but I need to thin out my small collection.
The car is in fantastic condition inside and out. The arches are completely rust free and can be confirmed in person. You’ll be hard pressed to find anything more than mere surface rust in the usual places in the engine bay.
I’ll be as honest and as transparent as I can be.
Things to mention:
- Lacquer on the bonnet looks fairly scratched, it has been DA polished and sealed but would be perfect if resprayed
- Usual small scuffs and paint for the vehicle’s age, can be see in photos
- Driveshafts could do with being replaced, I have both for £150
- Rear right window has come off the window regulator rail, a new window with intact mounts will be provided with the car
- Boot interior is currently removed to allow access to coilovers to change them. I have the panels and all the fixings and it can easily be reassembled
