This is a faithful recreation, but with a hidden modern twist! Under the timeless Gullwing body sits the full running gear of an SLK32 AMG.
Finished to the highest of standards using a huge amount of original parts.
Bumpers/ lights/ grille/ mirrors/ dials and
steering wheel to name but a few.
A couple of years ago a family of mechanical engineers
spent over 2 years meticulously turning this SLK32 AMG chassis into the modern classic you see before you.
The full roof structure was removed and a tubular roll cage was fitted ensuring both safety for the occupants and rigidity for the gullwing doors.
Painted in a stunning, yet classic white finish, the interior is trimmed in a lovely contrasting red leather.
The interior is a work of art, and bar the gear selector, in my opinion almost indistinguishable from a genuine gullwing helped along by use of original gauges, knobs, foldable steering wheel and more.
By retaining the sporty SLK32 AMG running gear, you’ll enjoy modern driving dynamics and features such as air conditioning which increase the cars usability and fun factor incredibly compared to a 50’s car.
Up to date safety systems such as power steering, traction control, powerful anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control are all retained helping you to get the most of the supercharged 3. 2 V6 engine. The rear wheels are driven through a smooth automatic gearbox.
