Mini Cooper Sport
First registered in 2000 and has had three previous owners
I purchased the car in 2013 and commissioned a full nut and bolt strip down and restoration in 2017.
The work was undertaken by Wood and Pickett who are world renowned for the high quality work they undertake on Mini’s
The car is completely original and as part of the 2017 restoration it had a bare metal respray in the correct solar red with silver roof, bonnet stipes and mirrors.
The original minilite wheels are present and in first class condition, the only variation to the original theme is a sports exhaust which is a huge improvement to the look of the car and sound of the engine, it truly adds a new dimension and I struggle to understand why they were not fitted as standard.
Internally it has the black and silver leather seats, silver dash and handles.
It also benefits from an original factory fitted electric sunroof
The car has covered a total of 57k miles with the last 400 miles being driven in the dry following all mechanical parts being either refurbished or replaced in 2017.
I have a history file approx. 1. 5 inches thick which includes but is not limited to the full service history, all previous receipts and MOT documenting the entire life of the car.
Included in the sale are photographs of the rebuild, parts schedule/ receipts and a letter of authenticity from Wood and Pickett issued when the restoration was completed.
I have included some photos that I hope show the extent of the work undertaken, I am limited to the number I can include but I am happy to forward more photos if requested.
It is safe to say the car is in better condition than when it left the factory it looks absolutely stunning and is probably one of the best available anywhere.
I estimate the cost to undertake the work today would be in excess of £20 -£25k plus the cost of the car but that doesn’t really matter now because it is done.
Will be sold with new 12month MOT.
