The first generation of Range Rover are now a very sought after British 4x4, especially in three door form. The first generation was produced for almost three decades. This example was purchased by its current owner in 2021 as part of a bulk buy of farm machinery. Extensive restoration is required but being a three door, it should be well worth rescuing. The current owner has lost the ability to restore projects now and is thinning down his collection. The truck is fitted with a 4. 0 litre four-cylinder Ford Diesel engine which the DVLA have been notified of previously. It does appear mostly complete with some loose parts inside. The transmission seems to be stuck in gear so it will need winching on to take it away.

Vehicles that are un-registered or on foreign plates may require Import Duty and Vat to be paid upon purchase via HMRC prior to registering with the DVLA for a UK plate, if you are not sure please ask. For classic cars over 30 years this equates to 5% Duty on the final value. For cars described as MOT exempt (pre-1983) these vehicles may need their exemption registered with the DVLA.
