This exceptionally well-presented Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible has covered just 59, 000 miles from new, comes with an impressive service history and comes with its original manuals, Jaguar document wallet and spare keys. The XJS also comes with an impressive file of history to include previous MOT certificates dating back to its first MOT back in 1993, service and maintenance invoices, and receipts for a recent mechanical re-commissioning and cosmetic re-finishing work totalling almost £20, 000.
This low mileage Jaguar XJS was first registered on the 22nd June 1990 to Jaguar Cars Ltd, Company Vehicles, Browns Lane, Coventry. Our Jaguar XJS had its first service by Paladin Jaguar in Surrey and just months later in October 1990 was serviced again at 8078 miles. In 1992 at 15086 miles and in 1993 at 22551 miles TWR Jaguar (Coventry) serviced the XJS before Rylan Jaguar serviced at 29902 and in 1996 TWR in Oxford stamped the book at 34902. Jaguar Marshall of Cambridge serviced at 36494, 41839 and 48205 miles. The next service recorded was with a service garage at 50248 and at 55746 and 56436 further maintenance and servicing was carried out.
Having covered less than 1000 miles from 2010 to 2020, the XJS had a major program of work that included removing the rear sub frame assembly and replacing rear brake discs, brake pads, handbrake pads and rear brake calipers. The front brakes were stripped and discs, pads, flexi hoses and calipers replaced. Further work included new radius arms, new exhaust system, track rod ends, new steering rack, steering mounting bushes, high pressure hose, bonnet gas struts, new door mirrors, window motor, front wheel arch splash panels and new tyres. The XJS was also treated to interior detailing, various re-chroming, and the external bodyshell was stripped down and treated to a re-paint ensuring a beautiful, detailed finish.
G920 EDU is an outstanding looking car with top class paintwork, a superb straight body with excellent arches and lower wings and impressive chrome throughout. The Jaguar has an excellent power hood and the low mileage Magnolia hide upholstery is stunning. The deep Burgundy carpets are lovely, the boot area is superbly presented and the engine bay is very clean and ready to show. On the road the car is wonderful as these XJS cars are when they are right. The 5. 3 V12 engine offers fabulous performance, the automatic gearbox is super smooth and having had the extensive of program of recent work, the car is mechanically first class and has been enjoyed over the past few years by two of our long term regular customers.
