EXTERIOR
The Quantum Silver paintwork presents impeccably throughout with hardly an imperfection in sight. After a full detail and machine polish on arrival with us the body of this cherished example is truly exceptional – our studio photos really don’t do it justice. In line with the very low mileage of just 10k there are very few stone chips or defects to report, and of course she’s arrow-straight along both sides. All the lights are crystal clear, the brightwork is perfect, and the glossy carbon fibre components are first-rate. The car has always been garaged to preserve its amazing condition and so the hood is also immaculate.
INTERIOR
Sitting inside it’s hard to believe that this stunning DBS is now 14 years old. As with the exterior of the car, the interior is almost without fault. Very tastefully spec’d in Obsidian Black with a contrasting silver stitch the leather upholstery is still notably supple, and even commonly worn areas such as the driver’s bolsters appear almost untouched. The steering wheel is absolutely perfect and there are no notable marks to any of the switchgear. The piano black fascia retains a great shine and everything works just as it should, including the foldaway multimedia screen. There are no scratches across the hand-stitched leather dash, centre console, or carbon fibre door pulls, and the rich black carpets are also pristine – even the door sill covers are undamaged. The cabin is lifted further with A pillars and headlining trimmed in pale Alcantara, again all unmarked, with other contrasting details such as the B&O speakers also perfectly presented.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Barely run-in with a mere 10k miles under its belt, this beautiful 2009 DBS Volante drives without fault. Delivering an impressive 510hp its 5. 9-litre V12 is potent to say the least, and in this example its paired with the slick Touchtronic transmission. When driven in automatic mode, the DBS is easy to live with in traffic and copes well with low-speed manoeuvring. Switch to manual, and it’s an involving experience – the steering wheel-mounted paddles offer excellent control and a lovely throttle blip on each change down. Upshifts are 15 percent faster than in the DB9; press the Sport button and they’re 25 percent quicker.
Despite the super low mileage this one has always been maintained to a very high standard, and only by Aston Martin main agents and marque specialists. The accompanying handbook is stamped 11 times with the last service and inspection (totalling £3, 350) completed in November 2022 at 9, 809 miles.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The DBS sits on the factory optional 20-inch 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels, all in perfect unmarked condition with no wear to report. They are shod in a recently fitted set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres that have seen only 340 miles of use. The powerful carbon ceramic brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition, effortlessly bringing the car to a stop quickly and in a straight line.

First registered in September 2009 this immaculate DBS was supplied new by Jacksons Aston Martin in Jersey. It has now driven a remarkable 10, 148 miles in the hands of only 3 registered keepers. The current owner purchased the car from Bramley Motors in 2018 and has certainly kept on top of the maintenance. Reading through the accompanying service/ handbook there are 11 main dealer/ specialist stamps, the last at 9, 809 miles in November 2022. This work was carried out by Trinity Engineering and included a full inspection and service with new Michelin tyres all round. The complete service history is as follows:
