EXTERIOR
Presented in Basalt black a colour that provides a generous metallic flake throughout that comes alive in natural light which enhances the car’s appearance. With distinctive smooth lines and adaptive directional headlights, the Turbo S only slightly differs aesthetically from the Turbo, with RS Spyder rims coming as standard and monogram badging on the back without losing its signature huge air intakes, flared sills, bulging rear arches and wing spoiler and bumper.
The car presents in excellent condition with a only a few blemish’s to note across the bumper and bonnet while rear arches and wing showing no sign of chips or marks, a testament to such low mileage.
INTERIOR
The 997 maintains that perfect Porsche balance of style and substance with a cabin swathed in leather and graced with plenty of tech. The electric adaptive sports seats retain great integrity and only show light wear on the drivers seat bolster, while the rear seats look untouched. Switchgear buttons and dials present crisp and clean. The cabin here presents near perfectly with gearbox tunnel and carpets all appreciably fresh and unmarked.
Sport Chrono package plus present here offers more than a dial in the centre of the dash, it offers a more sensitive throttle map alongside altering PSM (Porsche Stability Management) via the Sport button to allow further exploration of the chassis. Drivers’ memory seat, cruise control and sunroof offer further considerations for Grand Touring capability.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The flat 6 is unmistakable Porsche on start up, purposeful yet civilised. uprated turbos and carbon fibre air manifolds increases the horsepower to 530bhp while boost has been increased to 1. 0 bar, launching the car from 0-60 in just 3. 1 seconds! The engine performs admirably with the new at the time seven-speed PDK gearbox, pulling through the gears with perfect German precision.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Turbo S RS Spyder centre lock alloys present in excellent condition and blend into the black coachwork. Pirelli P Zero rubber graces all four corners, N2 Porsche rated, all displaying good tread depth.
Contrasting bright yellow Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCM) provide unparalleled stopping power without fading in even the toughest of conditions.
