This 2001 example is finished in the wonderful ‘Lapis Blue’ and complimented with Savannah Beige hide, with a blue mohair roof. The car also comes with a matching hardtop.
EXTERIOR
The outside of the car presents extremely well. It has presence and kerb appeal amplified by the fantastic colour combination. The aero kit is a highly sought after addition to the 996 series with an extended front bumper, GT3 side skirts, spoiler and rear bumper extensions, visually and practically improving the car. 18” GT3 wheels finished in black with silver lip and blue mohair roof finish off a very impressive vehicle.
INTERIOR
In excellent condition throughout, no rips or tears to leather, carpet presents in perfect order. Savannah beige leather, electric and heated sports seats, PCM, climate control, 6 speed manual gearbox , electric windows and mirrors, retro Porsche cr22 cassette receiver , cassette tray compartment. At Time of writing all electric components, roof, heated seats, air condition are all in perfect working order (we always encourage potential purchasers to carry out their own due diligence and checks)
HISTORY
The history of this car is impeccable. All original manuals are present and correct, with a full stamped service book from main dealers or specialists. This also includes a recorded 4 brake fluid changes. There is a binder full of paperwork including all MOT history, early main dealer history receipts as well as specialist history for maintenance, upgrades and repairs. IMS/ RMS and clutch have previously been replaced.
GENERAL CONDITION AND SUMMARY
With the consideration of the vehicle being 22 years old, it is hard to find fault in the overall condition. The paintwork is clean, shiny with no dents of any note to speak of. It would benefit from a full detail as there are some swirls present but this is being picky. The interior is very clean and tidy. There is some very common minor cosmetic wear to the front bolsters, but this could easily be dyed or touched in. No repairs are needed. Wheels and tyres in good order, but again would benefit refurb due to age to be perfect- no kerb marks or damage . Aside from minor cosmetics commensurate with age it’s in excellent order. THIS IS a very fine example of a manual carrera 4 with a manual gearbox. Beautiful colour combination, high spec, well looked after and from an avid Porsche collector. The condition and history speak for itself, and in our opinion, this is a vehicle not to be missed
