First registered on 5th October 1977, this MG Midget presents in good order having had a complete body and mechanical restoration in the 1990s (photographic evidence is supplied in the history folder). With family ownership for most of the last 20 years, the car has been well looked after with receipts showing significant expenditure including a replacement gearbox in 2019. Taken off the road shortly thereafter due to lack of use, it has been dry stored ever since.
Now out of storage we have treated the 1491cc engine to a light re-commission... it starts immediately and runs smoothly with no adverse rattles or noises and simply drives as a Midget should. The tan interior is in good condition and we have just fitted a brand new hood and front carpets. The bodywork and underside are sound and the paintwork although good overall has a couple of small tired spots around the wheel arches.
This is a great little car and a very usable classic to be driven and enjoyed but with scope for fettling and improvement over time. To be sold with a new MOT.
