Description

This is clearly a project, I will add more pictures and a video in the not too distant future. This is or was a 1960 MK1 Frog. It hasn't been on the road for more than 40 years, it has been the subject of a very slow conversion/ restoration to hill climb... this apparently was the original plan. It was born in March of 1960 AN5/ 35540 and would be fairly easy to recover the original number and registration date. It has been modified! It has a 1300GT engine that has been over bored, it has an 11 stud head accordingly. It has a ford 4 speed gearbox. It requires no welding whatsoever, everything underneath is new/ reconditioned. Diff, springs, axle straps, brake lines, rack, discs fitted, bushes, fuel tank, I mean everything. It requires the dash sorting out, I have had it running and am in the process of making a rocker cover fit, it comes with most of what you need to finish it depending on what you would want to do with it. It comes with a new soft top... although it's 20 years old... it has a hard top, the windscreen and frame, new carpets, harnesses, lights. There are bonnet catches, a new rear view mirror, wiper arms, all the cables, it's had a servo fitted... It has a Lenham front or a similar brand, it has six wire wheels, the tyres are new, it has very unusual glass lenses for the headlamps. It will need a fan fitting as there is no cooling facility beyond the radiator. There are lots of spares, new valves, guides, original pistons, starter, alternator, calipers, valve springs, original cam, I'll add more pictures in time. Please don't send me brainless messages, call me then come to view it. I have a new exhause to fit, the propshaft will need to be shortened I suspect, I have the original prop and a Ford front piece to add, there two new UJ's... There will be more that I've forgotten, I've put a new battery on it and added a fuel regulator to stop the carb flooding.'Froggit project' should find the video on youtube
