2000 C5 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE - 6-SPEED MANUAL

Originally a Florida car, this is a genuine year 2000 C5 and it's the 6-speed manual convertible in triple black. The car shows 91, 000 miles and has an extensive folder of invoicing and past MOT's plus the car has just passed a fresh MOT with no advisories.
INTERIOR. The interior presents very well with little or no wear to the driver's seat. Everything in the cockpit seems to be working as it should, even the A/ C control panel which still lights up. The car is very well optioned with HUD and even the power telescopic steering column.
EXTERIOR. Paintwork throughout is to a decent standard and the soft-top remains in good condition. The year 2000 was the only year to offer factory polished forged wheels and these also remain in nice order, all shod very well. Nice to see the Eckler front stainless mesh inserts in place in the grills.
MECHANICS. The car has a stainless Corsa axle back exhaust in place and the engine sports an SLP Blackwing air intake. There's invoicing to show the car has had a recent ACDelco harmonic balancer including new timing cover seal and ARP bolts, all nice to know.
MCM LOW RISE VENTED CARBON FIBRE BONNET. Yes, the hood on the car is a genuine MCM part and an absolute work of art. No longer made, and if you search the Foruns you'll find second hand ones listing at anything up to $3, 500 each.
RECENT WORK. How about new Mintex pads, a full set of four Bilstein B6 Sport shocks, expensive Moog drop links front and rear, a new HVAC unit fitted, recent oils/ belts etc, YRO leave-in jack pucks, all four tyre pressure sensors changed and expensive Lloyd over-mats fitted. Oh yes, and before you ask, the steering lock bypass has been done.
So that's about it, a very clean year 2000 6-speed C5, well option loaded and with an awful lot going for it. The car is on the key and drive away with a full MOT in place. We've certainly priced it to sell and we are more than happy to take a P/ X or especially a C3 or C4 in a deal - even a project.
