Beschreibung
The Morris Minor was produced from 1948 until 1971. Side-valve engines were followed by OHV engines, first 803, then 948 and finally the 1098cc cars arrived in 1962.
This car is a 1965 Morris Minor two door salon in black with a red interior. It has had two previous owners from new, the first until 1981 then just two in the same family since then. It had a light but comprehensive restoration a few years ago with various new body panels fitted and a reconditioned gearbox and a long list of minor parts.
More recently it has had several items of chrome-work replaced, a complete braking system overhaul with new components including a new master cylinder, refurbished wheels, new hub-caps and five new Pirelli tyres (£650). We have just carried out a light re-commissioning after a period of little use including an engine oil service, new plugs, new fuel tank sender and various detail jobs.
This striking Minor presents beautifully with a high quality paint finish, the underside is in rock solid order and it runs and drives beautifully. It is not a concourse car but very good in all areas and has had very substantial expenditure in the last few years.
