Condition of the car:
The Daimler has recently been completely overhauled and professionally restored. Care has been taken to ensure that the Daimler has retained its authentic appearance. The interior has been very neatly preserved, so (fortunately) the original leather and not completely new upholstery. The woodwork is very neat considering the age of the car.
And it won't surprise you, but the paintwork is like factory new. What a picture of a car!

The driving:
This is what you want when you choose a Daimler. Turn the key once and immediately turn that mighty 12 cylinder block. And also all 12, which might be different at Jaguar/ Daimler. The stately automatic transmission shifts to "D" and away it goes, because that's what it does. And what a wonderful feeling that is with a Series III. Stately and very smooth through the gears and what comfort.
