Works carried out in the last 2 years, by a local Moto Guzzi specialist include:
Front high low horns replaced with original type (Vox bell) as one was slightly corroded.
Front and rear wheels removed, the stainless steel spokes and rim polished and hubs soda blasted.
Front brake pads replaced Brembo ceramic pads.
Main front engine bolt removed and greased.
New front progressive springs fitted with new damping oil.
New original steering damper fitted.
Timing cover polished
Rocker Covers removed and soda blasted.
New breather hose fitted to the rocker cover left side.
New rocker cover gaskets.
All fluids replaced. Sump removed and cleaned out.
Engine had recently had new Gilardoni nikasil barrels fitted.
Under seat courtesy light working.
All appropriate bolts re Nickel plated.
Front and rear tyres changed to Bridgestone BT46s
Front Brembo brake master cylinder and brake callipers rebuilt.
Side stand improved by extending the foot to make it slightly longer. Own a piece of motorcycle history with this pristine 1973 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport, a true masterpiece of Italian engineering and style. This lovely low mileage example was one of a batch of 100 that were imported to the USA with twin disc, Brembo front brakes and left side gear change (as required for all bikes imported to the USA from 1974 on). Paintwork on frame and tank is original very good condition, side panels have been refinished at some point to a very high standard, using all original graphics.
