I have owned the 993 since 2011 since during when it has been totally reliable, used no oil between services and has been maintained by a local Porsche garage which specialises in air cooled 911s. The car has never been in an accident during my ownership and I believe never in the past, which was recently backed up by another Porsche 911 specialist who stated on inspection of the car that all the panels were straight and original. The attraction when I bought the car was it?s low mileage, still only 74, 550m, its full service history, including a new clutch at 55, 500m, good original condition and the rare Turquoise Metallic Blue paint and grey/ blue interior which is universally admired and really sets the car off.
As Chairman of a local Classic Car Club the car has been used for club runs, mostly in and around the Cotswolds, and it has been shown at many classic car events. It has also been used on classic car ?rallies? both within the UK e. g. Cornwall, Norfolk, Scotland and also on the continent e. g. Belgium, France, Isle of Man , including visits to Classic Car events such as Angouleme & Spa.

Full service history undertaken during my ownership over the past 12 years by Porsche Air-Cooled specialist Nick Price Motorsport, in Witney. Prior to then services by previous owners were carried out by Porsche specialist such as Charles Ivy, Fulham; Machtech, Kings Langley; Camtune, Godalming and Northway, Reading.
Full service/ repair invoices, MOT?s, receipts etc are included in a comprehensive file. I am sad to have to sell the 993 as it is a fantastic car to drive and attracts a lot of attention owing to its colour and condition. However, I have other classics and it is now not now being used enough and it is time that it should be enjoyed by another enthusiast. It is certainly a car which I and my wife have, over the past 12 years, have enjoyed greatly - typical Porsche in that you just the tyres and oil, fire up and away you go!
