CAR OVERVIEW
For sale is my lovely 1973 MGB roadster. I have owned the car for almost 6 months,
however I've decided that I'm really not getting enough use of the car to warrant having
it. I have taken the car on several long (around 100 mile) journeys and the car has been
flawless.
The car has had significant amounts of love (and money) over the years and was taken to car shows
by an enthusiast.

CONDITION
The previous owner informed that the car had a full back to metal restoration in 2007. The car
starts first time, has no smoke and maintains a healthy 60PSI of pressure on the oil guage. The
car drives well, with the precise rack and pinion steering and peppy 4 cylinder engine. Obviously
rust is a major concern with MGBs, though I cannot see any signs of rust around the wings or underside.
There are a few blemishes on the bodywork that a previous owner has attempted to touch up, however these arent very noticeable.
In my ownership I have had the following done by local classic specialist Pitt Lane classics.
1. Full carb strip and tuning by local (June 23)
2. Full service (Oil, Spark plugs, filters). (June 23)
3. Replacement fan belt. (June 23)
4. Replacement clutch slave and master cylinder along with resevoir and system bleed. (June 23)
5. Timing check (June 2023)
6. Full vehicle inspection (They said it was a "Good'un")
I have personally:
1. New mats, wipers, gearknob. (June 23)
2. Replacement bluetooth retro head unit. (June 23)
3. Installed battery tender harness. (June 23)
4. Replacement LED bulbs on speedo and tacho. (June 23)
I have stacks of history dating back to 2007, which includes:
1. Prop shaft replacement and diff rebuild (May 23)
2. Thermostat and coolant replacement (May 23)
3. Rear Diff rebuild.
Whilst the condition is not concours, it is exceptionally nice throughout. Observable
faults with the car are:
1. Micro paint blistering on boot lid.
2. Hazing on the chrome bumpers.
Obviously this car is now 15 years since it's restoration and now 50 years old in total. So please
bear that in mind when viewing.
