Description
Beautiful early 1966 Mk1 MGB Roadster, first registered in February 1966, in British racing green with wire wheels and Uniroyal 165 R14 84T tyres. Very original. Owned for 9 years, purchased from another private owner.
1800cc (5 bearings) engine, manual four-speed gearbox with overdrive.
Matching chassis (G-HN3) and engine (18GB-RU-H) numbers.
Absolutely solid and waxoyled, it drives very well and it sounds great.
MG Specialist-fitted upgrades, including:
• electronic ignition,
• unleaded head, 12v battery conversion
• engine bay cleaned and components (incl servo) re-positioned to correct location; new wires
• dashboard refurbished, including dash top and nosing; all instrumentation repositioned in correct location; clock and voltmeter added.
• New front track rod end and wheel bearings
• hazard lights
Very nice Moto-Lota wooden steering wheel and gear lever knob
Hood and tonneau covers
Drivers handbook and workshop manuals
The vehicle has never been driven in the rain or on wet roads during my ownership, and it is kept in a semi-heated garage. Beautiful British Racing Green colour; the car drives very well and it sounds great.
An MGB to be loved and enjoyed
