Time to sell our restored 1992 Mini City, originally a 998 but now a 1275
The 1275 engine was built by a local mini specialist, it's a refurbished 1275 with a modified head, 600 cam, HIF44 carb with MG Metro needle, LCB Y-piece, K&N filter, Maniflow manifold, Road race exhaust (RC80 2" bore with centre outlet), engine pulls well. DVLA were notified of the engine change and shows on the V5
Nearly every body panel has been replaced to include:
Rear valance
Boot floor
Inner rear arches
Rear panel
Lower 3/ 4 rear panels
NS & OS Sills
Door shuts
A panels
Windscreen scuttle
Front wings
Front panel
Front valance
New dry rear Subframe with adjustable Hi-Lows and polyurethane bushes with braided goodridge hoses
Both rear brakes rebuilt 2022
Front wheel bearings done 2022
New front subframe mounts 2022
Modified wheel arches to give a smoother appearance
JBW OS4 Turbo Gold alloys with Yokohama's
Slight dent in the boot
H4 Halogen headlights
25mm spacers on each wheel giving a wider stance
Interior:
Cobra seats
Race harness
No heater
No radio
No soundproofing
Plain door panels
Rally style steering wheel
No rear seats
Lift the carpet and you see the metal floor which is as expected
Speedo says 66, 000 mls but obviously its a refurbished engine as mentioned above, MOT till April 2024
