Description
For Sale – 1990 Rover Mini Cooper RSP
A beautifully presented and increasingly collectible example of the 1990 Rover Mini Cooper RSP (Rover Special Products) — the limited-edition model that officially revived the Cooper name after nearly two decades.
Recently serviced on 04/ 08/ 2025 at 49, 364 miles, this Mini is accompanied by a clear vehicle history check and will be supplied with 12 months MOT and a 6-month warranty for added reassurance.
The Driving Experience
Under the bonnet sits the correct factory-specification 1275cc twin-carburettor A-Series engine, exactly as fitted when new. Producing 62 bhp, it delivers the sharp throttle response and engaging character that made the RSP so special.
Crucially, this is not a later fuel-injected Cooper. The twin-carb RSP retains the raw, mechanical feel and immediacy that many enthusiasts regard as the finest driving version of the modern-era Mini Cooper.
Condition & Ownership
This example presents very well and benefits from a partial but long-running maintenance history, reflecting consistent care over its lifetime. It represents a genuine opportunity to acquire a correct, usable and increasingly scarce factory Cooper, ideal for both driving enjoyment and long-term ownership.
