We are proud to offer the opportunity to own this iconic Italian classic Laverda Jota. The bike we have for sale is a stunning example in superb condition and has covered just 24, 220 kilometres. Our 1982 120 crank example is supplied with a letter of authenticity from Slaters Laverda confirming the bikes matching engine and chassis numbers are that of a genuine 120 Jota sold by Haverhill Motorcycles in May 1982. This beautiful machine has undergone a full restoration back in 2013 and is supported by paperwork and invoices showing work carried out with the total invoice showing over £6, 000 spent on the bike. There are also various MOT's also included with the package.
The Laverda Jota's were imported by Slater Bros. of Collington, near Bromyard, Herefordshire, England. Based on the existing 1973-1981 Laverda 3C model the Jota made a big impression in 1976 producing 90 hp and reaching speeds of 146 mph, thanks to the factory racing parts fitted into the road engine directly at the factory, it was the fastest production motorcycle of its time and the Italian equivalent and competition for the Honda CB750-four.
