1984 Corvette C4 with Crossfire V8 and manual 4+3 gearbox. This is a project car, that was last registered in 2008.
It was recently brought back to life with a new fuel pump, fuel filter and battery. It now runs and drives, but will require a thorough mechanical check up.
The Corvette's most obvious visual flaw is the bonnet, which was sanded down to almost bare glassfibre. The rest of the paint (except for the top of the rear bumper and mirror covers) might polish up nicely, although it would be better to repaint the entire car.
The chassis is straight and solid and shows no signs of previous damage. Unfortunately, the passenger's side fibreglass floor board was damaged after forklift handling in the port. This can easily be repaired with fibreglass mats and resin.
The Corvette's interior needs to be renovated. The leather seat upholstery is worn and torn and the dashboard top has severe cracks. Also, the digital dashboard is not working and would need to be repaired or replaced. The car has a transparent removable targa roof.
