EXTERIOR
There’s something alluring about racing liveries on road cars, and the Type 25 is perhaps the most captivating of them all. It has been nearly 50 years since the iconic combination was first introduced to the world, and yet applied to the latest Exige it still looks incredible; framing the cars aggressive curves whilst maintaining an inherent sense of nostalgia and exclusivity being 1 of only 25 cars produced by the factory.
With a deep metallic flake the Lotus Racing Green finish presents with a resplendent shine, contrasted subtly by the carbon weave of the bonnet, roof and rear spoiler. Up front sits a set of large intakes; channelling air through the rear diffuser and spoiler they help the Lotus to produce 220kg of downforce, a huge amount considering the car tips the scales at just over 1000kg.
Having had front PPF fitted early in the cars life it ensures the glorious finish remains in superb order throughout and prevents any unwanted stone chips.
INTERIOR
Continuing the Type 25 colour way, black leather and alcantara with yellow and green contrast stitching adorn much of the interior, including the ultra lightweight carbon bucket seats which sit deep below the huge sills. The luxurious upholstery is offset by lashings of carbon fibre and machined metal throughout the space, including the intricate engineering of the exposed gear linkage, a work of art in itself. Proudly displayed on the dashboard, a gold Type 25 plaque denotes this as car number 22 of the limited 25 car production run.
Despite the lightweight focus of the Exige, this example comes specified with optional Air Conditioning, Radio and Bluetooth as well as an upgraded sound system, fitted with Coax Evolution Speakers, MJ Subwoofer and Kicker Key Smart Amplifier which cost over £1, 200. Having covered less than 20k miles the cabin sits in near exceptional condition, free from any discernible signs of wear.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Developed in partnership with Toyota, the Exige’s supercharged 3. 5L V6 produces 430bhp; mightily impressive considering its 1, 050kg kerb weight . With a power to weight ratio of over 400bhp per tonne it manages 0-60 in just 3. 2 seconds and flies onto a top speed of 174mph. Paired to a full titanium sports exhaust and a 6-speed manual gearbox it makes the featherweight Exige an enthralling driving experience, engaging on B-roads and race tracks alike.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Finished in black and chrome as part of the Type 25 pack, the ultra lightweight forged aluminium wheels look sensational and present in immaculate condition. A premium set of matching Yokohama Advan A052 tyres sit with reasonable tread at each corner.
Nitron 3-Way Adjustable Dampers and AP Racing brakes complete the high performance set up; providing a level and responsive handling with plenty of stopping power on demand.
