1969 Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray 350 V8 L46 Manual. Finished in Le Mans Blue metallic with Bright Blue Vinyl interior, L46 350-hp Turbo-Jet V8, factory Side-Exhausts and 15-in Corvette steel wheels fitted with BFGoodrich radial tyres.
Ordered by Chevrolets Public Relations Department and supplied through their Californian Dealer on The Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles in April 1969. Its purpose was as a publicity vehicle to promote the marque and for the use of John DeLorean, later of DeLorean Motor Company, during his marriage to the actress Kelly Harmon and who had recently taken over as head of Chevrolet.
Not surprisingly in light of its intended use and its obvious high-profile the car was ordered with the best options you could have on a Corvette at the time. As confirmed by its original factory build sheet included in one of the six lever-arch history files these are:

The recipient of the Classic Corvette Club UK original Gold award in 1995, 1997 and 2006, its last score that of 186 from a possible 200 and has been exhibited at the NEC Classic Car Show in 2007 and more recently in 2017 and American Car Magazine cover feature in 2010.
The exhaustive 6 lever-arch History Files detail important work carried out by nationally recognized classic specialists Dragon Wheels and Corvette Kingdom. Both these companies we have dealings with ourselves and know them to be especially good at what they do. The various restoration works have been carried out with the strict caveat of keeping to its factory settings and to retain its high degree of originality, as verified by its several CCCUK Gold Awards.
