1979 Ford Escort RS2000 Recreation 2.1 Pinto Twin 45's

Ford Escort MK2 2 door.
Here we have my stunning MK2 Escort 2 door with all RS2000 bits added to it. 2000L on the logbook.
The car is Venetian Red and very solid with no rot or rust anywhere. Engine was rebuilt last year and is now bored to 2. 1, it has a piper 285 ultimate camshaft and a Burton stage 3 head, high pressure oil pump, hepolite pistons and rings, RS alloy sump, brand new weber twin 45 carbs and manifold and linkage, full custom made Bestek ignition kit and coil, full Ashley manifold and exhaust, Burton alloy cast rocker cover, Hi-Torque starter motor, racing battery relocated under passenger seat and more I propably forgot, engine was then set up on rolling road and pulled a strong 154 BHP at the wheels, I have a video of the car on the rollers. Engine is mated to a 5 speed box with the proper RS alloy bell housing and new clutch. Interior is the original RS2000 beta cloth fishnet recaros and they are immaculate with no wear or tear, RS2000 orange needle dash clocks, RS2000 centre console, additional gauges in console for battery voltage and temperature. RS 3 spoke steering. I have fitted 4 rally spot lights on alloy quick release brackets, NOS Shell Sport sun strip on the windscreen, RS boot spoiler, brand new Revolution 8 spoke minilite type gold alloy wheels with new Toyo Proxes 185/ 60/ 13 tyres done less than 200 miles, vented/ drilled/ grooved discs up front on bilstein struts. The list goes on and the car has much money spent on it over the years.
In a nutshell this is a TAX/ MOT exempt car in use for shows and classic car meets regularly that turns heads and puts a smile on your face from the moment you turn the key. Theres no radio just the amazing noise you get from those new webers. Stunning and solid shell with all mechanicals in perfect order. Always kept in a locked garage and only used in good weather.
