Description
This Rover has been stored since the late 80s. It was recommissioned in 2017 and had a new mot but has done very little since. It has had a fair amount of mechanical work underneath, new brake pipes, hoses, some new steering joints. The structure is excellent with good outriggers, sills and floors. There is nothing obvious that it requires underneath from what we can see.
We have driven it today and the mechanics are very good, engine lovely and quiet as they are. Over drive is working as it should. The only fault we found was a sticking rear brake (maybe wheel cylinder). It has just had a new battery fitted and starts easily every time.
The bodywork has a few areas of bubbling and some paint defects, but there are no structural issues
The Rover would make an ideal car to use and improve. We are selling it as it stands and would hope that it would represent good value to someone. Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the uk after cleared funds and we accept debit card payments or bank transfers.
