Ford Model T Speedster with German vehicle documents This Ford came to Germany from California in the early 1990s. The Californian title is still enclosed as a copy. A file folder contains some correspondence from this period, as well as invoices and history. The Speedster was first registered in Germany in 1993. From 1993 to 1999 the car was registered and from then until today it has been housed in a private classic car collection. The car has only ever had one owner in Germany. The engine number gives the year of construction as October 1919. The Speedster was created using a special "Speedster Body Kit" which was available for purchase. This very extensive kit also included a "Dropped Front Axle". Thanks to this axle, the car sits nice and low, unlike the high-legged factory Ts. There are many expensive brass parts fitted to the vehicle, of which the ball horn alone, for example, costs around 1, 000 dollars as a new part. The Ford starts and drives in typical Ford T fashion. An electric starter motor is installed in addition to the starter crank. The driving experience is unique (you can't drive any more openly) and is a huge pleasure.
