Description
This is the Subaru Impreza STi S203, according to the Japanese brand, the purest sports sedan of its generation. Developed and tuned with the help of 2003 WRC Champion Petter Solberg, this is a special, numbered edition, produced only for the Japanese market and with a degree of exclusivity that adds to its collectible value.
This is a model with incredible dynamic behavior, whether on the track or on the road. Worthy of being considered a WRC Group A Homologation Special, the Impreza STi S203 has 320hp and 422Nm of torque. The hand-assembled EJ207 engine, with exceptionally balanced pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft, brings maximum reliability and a redline of 8000rpm.
It has an STI exhaust with original titanium muffler, tuned ECU, 6-speed manual transmission, AWD with DCCD and front helical LSD. The turbocharger is an IHI VF42 twin scroll with better response, larger diameter STI sway bars, aluminum pillow ball top mounts, factory adjustable Struts and many other special parts.
The wheels are 18-inch BBS forged items, exclusive to the model, with Brembo breaks hiding behind them. In the exclusive interior, details abound, with the highlight being the exclusive Alcantara Recaro Reclining Seats.
This example is number 296 of 555. It was built in the Gunma plant in February 2005 and was driven and maintained in Japan till 2011. It was bought by a Swedish enthusiast in July of 2011 and meticulously maintained at Subaru specialists Auto Teknik in Helsingborg, Sweden.
It was bought by a Portuguese rally collector in 2019 and it remains totally original and in extraordinary condition. All the invoices are present since the first registration in Japan - this is a true 'Full-Service History' car. It has the maintenance booklets in Japanese and all the manuals and brochures specific to this model. It was never crashed or repaired, with original paintwork and no rust on the body or chassis.
