RSK 676 was built between 27-28 June 1951 and exported by Nuffield Exports to Malta. RSK 676 was bought privately in 2018 following a complete nut and bolt restoration. Originally Mist Green, it was imported from Malta in 2002 and was stored in a garage in Manchester pending restoration. A complete record was kept during the work carried out and it was sold as a car in Concourse condition. Copies of the 276 photographs are available to view and will be supplied to the new owner. In 2018 the car achieved second place (Custom and Modified) at the MMOC National Rally Kelmarsh Hall. Modifications includes wooden headlining, door posts and kick plates, Moto Lita steering wheel and 1098 steering column. Flashing indicators are wired to the side lights . A single key operates the ignition, door and boot. The owner has travelled to Northern Belgium and Cornwall in RSK 676 as holiday transport. Both journeys of over 1000 miles were trouble free as you would expect in what is essentially a new/ old car.
Upgrades since purchase include; cylinder head skin electronic ignition, sports coil and silicon leads from Accuspark. New SU fuel pump, air silencer for the home market, refurbished horn, original radiator has been replaced and recorded, new boot carpet, 5 new tyres 145HR 14 Pirelli Cinturato CA67 with inner tubes, Longstone Tyres April 2023 and windscreen wiper motor.
There is a recently acquired stone chip on the bonnet which I hope to rectify before sale.
