Very Reluctant Sale of My 2002 E46 M3 Coupe SMG finished in Laguna Seca Blue.
I have owned this car for 3 years, it has been dry stored in an underground car park throughout my ownership. I have spared no expense in maintaining this car and it is a dream to drive. My circumstances have changed and the car doesn’t get used as much as it should so I think it’s time to sell up and let someone else enjoy it. This said I am in no rush to sell it and won’t entertain silly offers or time wasters.
169k on the clock with Full Service History, HPI CLEAR, Log Book present, 12 Months MOT, 6 previous owners, comes complete with full book pack and 2 keys. Stacks of paperwork as you’d expect for a well looked after car with all the major e46 M3 issues taken care of, also included is the original purchase invoice of this car which was delivered by Chandlers BMW Brighton back in 2002.
Engine + Gearbox:
Full Comprehensive service history, with invoices to back up all services completed. The most recent service was an Inspection 2 Major Service completed at BMW Harwoods Basingstoke just 500 miles ago in 2022.
Rod Bearings - Replaced in 2004 under recall at BMW. Then replaced again in 2018 with King Race Bearings at ETA Motorsport
Headgasket - Full top end rebuild in 2014 at Scott’s Performance now trading as BMR
Vanos - Vanos and timing done in 2023 by Mr Vanos (still under 5 year warranty)
Clutch - replaced in 2016
SMG pump - Replaced in 2015 at Scott’s Performance
Throttle actuator and throttle position sensors replaced in 2023
Coolant and Brake fluid change completed in 2023

Chassis and Suspension:
Sitting on HSD Coilovers, with 8j Square Setup Style 67m alloys wrapped in Nankang NS2Rs all round.
Rear Subframe has been reinforced and stone chipped then sprayed in Laguna Seca Blue. Power flex bushes throughout.
Full Respray in 2016 at Fast Factory, there are a few spots of bubbling on the drivers side front wing. Bootlid has a spot of lacquer peel, hasn’t bothered me enough to get it sorted during my ownership. It has had a stage 2 detail and looks absolutely stunning.
Original brakes all round with the pads just recently being replaced, HEL braided brake lines all round.
Hard brake lines have also been replaced in 2023 from front to rear with BMW OE brake lines.
CV boots and Differential output seal have been replaced in 2023

Overall a very rare well looked after car with no expense spared! There were only 451 RHD LSB’s made in this spec so grab a unicorn.
