Singer Gazelle 1964, very original car and has been in our family for more than 20 years now. Prior to that it was mainly on one family for about 18 years and there is full documented history for that period and ours. It is white with a dark red stripe, the roof is still the original paint although it did have a sympathetic restoration around 9 years ago. Condition is very good, what we tried to do was keep it as original as possible and since then it has been kept in our dry garage and in an Air Chamber over winter. Even at that it gets started every few weeks, to keep the battery topped up and brakes etc moving, we have continued to get it MOT'd despite it being tax and MOT exempt. In the last few years has only done a few hundred miles each year, confirmed by MOT certificates. It's not perfect and not like ones which have had a "Nut and Bolt" restoration but it would have been a shame to do that to this vehicle, considering it's condition. It starts and drives well, a true step back in time and I think you will struggle to find a better one.
It's a lovely thing to own and I get a lot of pleasure just seeing it in the garage and remembering what 'real cars' were like. Mechanically it's simple 'old school', easy to work on but it rarely needs anything done anyway. Parts are cheap for it and you won't need a laptop or DTC de-coders, Cats, DPFs, EGRs, froget them, fabulous.
