1935 Austin 7 Special (Rod Yates Trophy Body)
Certainly, one of the best-looking Austin 7 Specials we have seen for some time - this car has been meticulously built and is superbly presented. She is ready for the Season!
One of just Five Trophy bodies made with the bodywork being finished by Ian Pitney.
This Austin 7 Special is road registered and comes with a current V5 and VSCC buff form.
She has competed in a number of Speed and Hill Climb events
Specification includes:
Phoenix Crank (1. 5 inch) and conrods, splash fed with additional oil jets; racing pistons, enlarged inlet and exhaust valves; ported, enlarged oil pump, mechanical water pump; ruby head; uprated camshaft; a racing battery, facet fuel pump, converted to 12 volts; hydraulic brakes and currently running on twin SU carburettors, 4 speed close ratio gearbox with remote control.
