For sale my 1997 Honda VFR 750 FV, the last year they were made.
This is a reluctant sale of a fabulous old Honda that never fails to bring a grin to my face. I am only selling as I struggle riding for more than an hour due to discomfort. Two hip replacements over the last 2 years are responsible! I now have another bike that is more comfortable for me. There is no point it sitting in the garage to be ridden occasionally, in my humble opinion.
In my ownership I had a major service in July 2022 including valve clearances. In June 2023 a new YSS rear shock which has made a big difference. A further annual service in 2023 and in Jan this year a new Michelin Road 6 rear tyre. The service history is mixed with some main dealer in its earlier years and then independent. There are gaps in what paperwork I had from the previous owner over the 27 years so cannot say if she was serviced fully over this time.
The gent who had it before me sourced a brand new top ½ of the fairing from Australia in 2019.
She rides well and sounds fabulous.
She is 27 years old so there are a few marks on the lower fairing and the fork stanchions could do with a clean-up however none of this distracts from a lot of bike for little cash. Please this is a 27 year old bike with 48k on the clock. Its not a show bike however is in decent nick.
I have price in my opinion low in order to sell. No point in it just sitting in the garage.
