Description: People keep asking if this bike is still for sale. If you're reading this listing them it defintely is! A very rare find indeed. An unrestored, unmolested 1984 Honda VF1000R with all original paintwork & panels. Declared new at first registration in the UK in October 1984. HPI clear with recent report present. 26, 638 miles showing on the clocks believed genuine & consistant with GOV. UK MOT database history from 2014. Has been off the road since the last MOT expired in 2019. Impressive even by today's standards. Designed for endurance racing, most technologically advanced 1000cc superbike of the eighties. Iconic V4 engine Japanese machine with precise steering, great acceleration and and sharp brakes. Runs & rides perfectly as shown in the Youtube video link above. There's a few problems that need attention to bring this bike back to collectors grade condition the worst of which is the paint work on the fuel tank which is lifting & cracked in places pictured. Although the tank looks clean inside there is possibly some pin holes that will require attention. Also the small panel in the right belly pan panel is missing as pictured. Overall A true eighties classic & genuine collectors bike. With top examples fast creeping up to five figure sums this is surely a very cost effective project that would be worth throwing a few quid at to make an excellent investment. Increasingly hard to find low mileage examples like this, that's not only a beautiful asset to own but is set to rocket in value! What's not to like, priced to sell so be quick!
