As a specialist in Airhead BMW’s, I’m genuinely delighted to be offering for sale what is probably one of the nicest R90S’s available today
The bike has had a nut and bolt restoration, by the well respected specialist in the marque, Keith Shaw (Shaw Stainless) and it has been completed with his usual attention to detail. All of the correct, early 90S details are there….. solid discs, Hella switchgear, correct seat pattern, etc, etc. it even has the optional kick start gearbox. The eagle eyed Airhead fans will have spotted a few sensible upgrades, such as the stainless brake lines, and those lovely Breakewell and Green stainless exhausts. No bad thing.
The bike’s pedigree is irreproachable, being a UK bike, and with only three previous owners from new. The chap Keith acquired it from had been the bikes custodian for the previous 40 years. There is also documentary detail of Keith’s restoration of the bike. I’ll not blither on (i usually do) but I’ll let the pics do the talking on this one.
