The renowned 1. 3 litre A-plus engine needs little introduction and is legendary for its driveability and excellent economy, this example being no exception. The 68bhp feels spirited, is quiet and offers very low maintenance costs. A bespoke stainless steel exhaust system costing £792 was fitted in 2021 to offer lifelong use. As with any A-Series engine, please expect a few oil leaks! The five-speed gear box is light and easy to use.

13in steel rims wear new old stock wheel trims which the previous owner managed to track down. Matching brand 155/ 80 R13 tyres have plenty of tread and there are two spare wheels with tyres. The diagonally split dual-circuit hydraulic brakes with servo assistance offer adequate stopping power.
