Amazing original condition, still has dealer stickers, original glass with numbers etched in, all documents including book pack, service book, sales brochure and 2 keys.
Also fitted from new it has an RS body kit and wheels so it looks like a Cosworth, this has also got to make it a very rare car.

Condition
The pictures tell the story of this Granada Scorpio’s excellent condition. Low miles and low ownership is obvious in the lack of wear and tear. It’s not perfect, there is some paint peel on the front RS Splitter, a poor touch up on a door and some of the side chrome trim is not perfect, I have included pictures of these defects. However I must stress that it is minor and easily rectified if you wish and does not detract from the quality of the car.
Inside it is absolutely lovely and very luxurious. I think everything works but as it hasn’t been used much in the last few years so expect some minor issues, I don’t think the A/ C is cold. The original radio system has been replaced which is a shame but I am sure you could find a correct unit to go in if you wished.
Mechanically it is really good, I drove a good distance to bring it home and it was amazing, loads of power, smooth gear change just great. If I were keeping I would get a full service done, clean up the engine bay and that is it.
Low miles, low owners, great spec, great condition bargain price. What more can you want from an old fast Ford.
History
Supplied by Dagenham Motors I suspect that this was a dealer car, hence the high spec and RS Kit. I gather from the history file that Mr Philpot bought this from the dealer in 1990 and kept the car until his wife became the 3rd owner is Feb 2022. I suspect that maybe Mr Philpot died and his wife inherited the car and then sold it to a collector in March 2022 within a month of it being in her name. I bought the car as a late night internet purchase from the collector late 2023 and have been deciding what to do since. It’s such a great car I want to keep it but I have too many other cars and have decided I need the space.
All the information is in the history file including original book pack, service book, sales brochure, MOT certificates and ownership documents. Pleasingly this is a car that has had 1 owner for the majority of its life, V5 shows 4 so you would be the 5th.
