Douglas Dragonfly registered January 1956, Frame No: 1346/ 6 gearbox 1816/ 6, in very good condition, full working order, rideable and reliable following extensive refurbishment over the past 12 months.
British Hub front and rear drum brakes and hubs, new tyres, battery, coil (lost spark system) and many other parts mainly supplied by a vibrant Douglas club. Available with club Maintenance Manual and Spares Manual and some spare parts.
Two awards in 2023.

I purchased the Dragonfly as it was the last motorcycle made by Douglas between 1955 - 1957 and therefore seldom seen on our roads. Featured in 'The Motor Cycle' in May 1955 the new Douglas 350cc horizontal opposed twin incorporated many new features such as the Reynolds-Earles front forks, pumped lubrication, and fuel induction pipe cast within the engine/ gearbox unit. Not only does the Douglas look the part it is easy to ride, nicely balanced and is smooth and responsive in operation.
