I purchased the Dragonfly as it was the last motorcycle made by Douglas between 1955 - 1957 and therefore seldom seen on our roads. Featured in 'The Motor Cycle' in May 1955 the new Douglas 350cc horizontal opposed twin incorporated many new features such as the Reynolds-Earles front forks, pumped lubrication, and fuel induction pipe cast within the engine/ gearbox unit. Not only does the Douglas look the part it is easy to ride, nicely balanced and is smooth and responsive in operation.
