The Impreza 22B!

This Japanese performance icon is an Appreciating Classics favourite & if you know your Impreza models then you will appreciate why.

These models have become extremely sought after, thanks largely to the rarity, but also the link to WRC legend Colin Mcrae & the fact that Subaru have arguably never really given us such a special car, either before or since.

This example has had a full bare shell restoration carried out by ourselves.

History:
This Impreza 22B was imported from Japan to the UK in 2021.

The car has fantastic Japanese service history which you can see detailed in this listing.

Since coming to the UK the Vehicle has had a plethora of parts ordered & fitted, As these things do, the job escalated & the car came to ourselves for a full restoration.
To list the parts/ works completed on a listing would not be realistic but the parts list & work carried out is a long impressive list.

The pictures should do the talking, we have many more pictures available.

Body & Paintwork:
Having been fully repainted by SGM Racepaint, this example presents very well as you would of course expect.

All trims are new, be it wiper arms, gutter trims, front & rear screen trims, weather strips, a-pillar trims & so on, all fitted with new clips of course.
The door glass is also new (correct OE items) with new genuine guides to ensure the glass remains scratch free & a genuine brand new windscreen. The list goes on and on.

All wheels are correct originals which are unmarked, having been paint matched to the original finish.

The car looks superb from all angles.

Interior & Trim:
Just like the rest of the car the interior presents very well.

Correct original gear knob, steering wheel, pedal rubbers, handbrake handle are all still fitted, the car is not modified & is as Subaru intended.
With no aftermarket gauges, screw holes or other damage this interior is exactly what you would want.

Seats are all in good condition, as are the door cards, centre console & dashboard.
The dash still shows the original finish specific to the 22B model.

Engine:
The engine bay is not a sight to be missed and looks even better in person!

As part of the full repaint by SGM, the engine bay area was also painted.
SGM have done a great job of replicating the colour/ finish in the engine bay & on the underside of the bonnet/ boot etc.

New genuine decals have been fitted, as have a variety of new & refurbished parts including a brand new genuine intercooler, power steering pipes, various hoses, pullies, bolts, brackets & a brand new exhaust to name just a few parts.

A very well presented engine bay throughout.

Of course the car runs as it should do, starting well & driving well on the road.

Running Gear:
Of course the running gear has not been overlooked.

Brand new correct Bilstein suspension is fitted, along with new brake hoses, brake pads, bushes, top mounts, cross members, ball joints …
The list goes on & on….

We have reproduced original/ factory stamps so as part of our restorations we can offer original stamp markings on all running gear & we replicate the original QC markings.
